Existing Home Sales Rise in April
According to the National Association of Realtors, home sales rose in April with strong buyer activity in the lower price ranges of homes.
According to NAR chief economist, Lawrence Yun, first time home buyers remain a heavy influence on the market but that there is also a seasonal rise of repeat buyers as we head into the summer months. Sales on mid-price ranged homes are picking up but the high end market still remains sluggish with continued issues with the "jumbo mortage" loans.
