There are currently 5033 single-family homes for sale in New Hanover, Pender and Brunswick Counties. In the last 6 months (11/26/09-5/25/10), 18032 homes have sold. These numbers indicate that if NO other homes are listed for sale that there is approximately 17 months worth of inventory.

During the last week (5/17/10-5/25/10):

164 Homes were listed FOR SALE
74 Homes went UNDER CONTRACT
68 Homes SOLD
119 Homes FAILED to SELL (Withdrawn or Expired)

Personally, I wonder how the film locations rank. We have a lot of One Tree Hill fans visit Wilmington every year. Any day, you can visit Wilmington Downtown to see 12 filming locations, include Clothes Over Bros, the front of Karen’s Cafe, the Port City Java where Karen’s Cafe interiors were filmed, the famous bridge from the intro, TriC, Karen & Lucas’s House, etc. Not to mention a view of the River Court across the river.

Kings Grant Home with Carport If you’re looking for an established neighborhood with wooded lots, friendly neighbors, and a park, you might want to consider Kings Grant. This community is located at the northern side of town near Corning and Mayfaire, and just minutes from Wrightsville Beach, Wilmington Downtown, and UNCW. As a benefit, Kings Grant is located outside of Wilmington’s city limits affording it lower taxes. All streets in King's Grant are named after famous writers. While Kings Grant is an older community of mainly brick homes, just recently new homes have been built on its available lots.
